The Cube Cycle 3 max effort – squats

It was a great weekend of rest and a massage and Captain America and church and fingernails and rest!  For the first time in 10 weeks I feel good!   It is amazing what a little rest will do for the body and mind!!!

I have rambled before about Relentless on my videos and such and I was asked this weekend by one of the guys in charge of it to lift in it.  Now the other guy in charge of it had asked previously but I had told him no because, well because I dont feel like I will ever be good enough to compete in anything like that and it is busy and hard for me to get away.  Well the second guy didnt take no for an answer and he just pretty much told me that he would pencil me in.  I have to say that sometimes not being allowed to say no is good for you because it pushes you out of your comfort zone!

Here is to Relentless in October, I think :)

I woke up this morning at 3:30 and stayed in bed until 4 :)  Im taking in all the rest I can get right now as this is max effort week and I dont want any excuses for being lame!

dreadmill warm up with stretching

squats

*45# for 5

*95# for 5

*135# for 5

*185# for 1

*205# for 1

*225# for 1

*235# for 1 which sucked so I tried for 1 more which was a bit better.

*245# for 1 which I missed by a mile!  I have got to figure out better how parallel feels because I am way way off!

first time doing these so kept the weight light.

It has been a completely crazy day today!!  It started with someone showing up with a horse at 6 am!  I was already at the gym and then had to take the kids to school so he just had to wait.   We were short one tech and then one receptionist got sick and had to leave so it has been a go go go go go go day!  The guy who showed up at 6 brought us some very yummy burros for lunch which saved all of our bacon as we were starving!!

The afternoon was busy and we just finished with the last person so I am going to end this and go and watch Emma Mae at karate!! :)  I have more to say but it can wait until tomorrow :)
