I am still behind in most everything but its ok because it will all eventually get done, it has to right?
Wednesday we had to castrate wild horses on the indian reservation. Thankfully they hauled them to the casino arena so we were at least in doors and had bucking chutes to load them in but it was still a lot of work. We only did 20 and it took us longer than the 24 last year because we didnt have very good help!
We loaded them and tried to get their drugs in them in the bucking chutes. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didnt.
Off with the huevos.
Checking them out.
20 head of horses at the end of the day with only a few wrecks.
It isnt as bad as it looks.
I only got kicked a few time and bit once. One kick was just in the hip but the second kick was to my face, Thankfully I am very hard headed everywhere apparently and it just bruised me up a bit.
We got home and I had time to eat and change and then it was a double crammed over booked afternoon of appointments. I was done by the end of it and went to bed early.
Up a bit before 4 and out the door about 5:10. I honestly didnt think I had enough in me to hit my numbers for heavy deads.

deads
*135# for 15
*185# for 10
*225# for 5

Got all my numbers so I was happy.

pullups

We had morning surgeries and then it was back on the road again for a farm call to the Flemings Tb Ranch for x rays and some teeth work and a pin fire for some splints.
After Flemings it was off to semen test some bulls and oh MY was it a long and weary day! It is a good thing it was cheat meal day or I dont think I would have made it!!
