“Less is More” week 1 – squats

Ok so you all know what happened yesterday and it took everything in me to get out of bed for my workout.  My energy level was below negative and I was less than enthusiastic upon entering the gym.

deads/legs

squats

*115# for 5 sets of 10

I have to say, these felt good.  It is only my second time with the new form and everything felt better.   I might actually not hate squats :)

lunges

*bw for 3 sets of 30

I was done and we had a ranch call to go on so I skipped the leg press and didnt add any weights for lunges because I am wimp!  :)

 

incline situps

*20 for 2 sets

 

Got done with my workout and went home and changed and took the monchers to school and we hit the road for the roosevelt to semen test bulls!

DSCF5914Devri was nice to help hold the tail for Bama to put in the probe!  Me, I just stood by the microscope and watched :)

After we did the bulls we stopped at a ranch in Globe and castrated a few colts.  The first one was a cryptorchid and it took me forever to find the huevo.  Generally  I dont have any problems but this one was so tight  down there that it took probably 5 minutes to find it :(

The second one was just a regular castration!

Thankfully that was all we had to do there and we loaded up and headed home!
