I am frustrated and it is making more crabby than I already am!  I am coming to the end of my second cycle of the cube and I am trying to decide what I should do.  I think the cube is a great program the problem with it is that I am currently not able to really give it what it needs.  Be it I am lacking in dedication or knowledge or ability or time or strength or what, I am not sure, probably a combination of all of the  above but the bottom line is I dont feel like I am making any progress!  It isnt the programs fault mind you, it is mine and I need to figure out what to do about it.    I just feel like I am going nowhere!

Anyway, got to bed early last night and slept good.  Up at 4 and out the door at 5:10.

I am glad that today is friday.  I am praying that the weekend is quiet so I can get some down time and away time.  It is extremely difficult for an introvert to be constantly surrounded by people and interacting and pretending to be nice for this many hours in a week and by friday, I am exhausted!!

We had the usual surgeries this morning and we were actually done before noon which was fantastic!!  It gave me a chance to go and tan and then stop by the grocery store to buy green beans and chicken.  I love green beans and I actually miss them when I go a few meals without them.

The afternoon was double booked but it flowed pretty smoothly.  We just finished with yet another after hours surgery.  We had a nine year old Akita come in this afternoon for acute collapse.  There appeared to be a mass in her abdomen and the owners wanted and exploratory to see what it was and if she could be fixed.  When I opened up the abdomen there was blood everywhere.  The spleen was normal which was a bummer because it is easy to remove.  It turned out to be the liver.  I think she had malignant melanoma and one of the tumors ruptured.  We euthanized her on the table.
