Yesterday afternoon was super busy and I was glad when it was over and I could head home. Not that I got to stay home but just not being at work was good. I headed over to karate to watch Emma. She is doing so well. I am very proud of her. Afterwards she wanted to go jump around with Zac at the gymnastics place. I was more than happy to drop her off and go home and fix me a shake and get ready for bed.
I woke up at 1:30 to let one of the dogs out and started coughing and that was pretty much the end of sleep for me. Between trying to hack up a lung and letting dogs in and out I was pretty much awake and got out of bed at 4:10.
Off to the gym on time this morning.

I forgot what it was that I needed at the store and it wasnt until I was in bed that I remembered it was my juice for my workout drink. So no quick carbs for me today because I am getting old and forgetful.

I knew I was in trouble when I had a difficult time getting 5 reps with 115#. I mentally prepared myself to not get upset if I missed my numbers.

I tried really hard to work on form with these. Stay tight, pull bar apart, push away from bar etc etc. I dont think I did very well.

I was failing fast here and the gym had filled up with the barney fife club and the dumb and dumber and dumbest boys so I just decided to stop before I killed someone.

The morning was busy. We got a late start on surgeries and thankfully didnt have that many routine surgeries but had a fracture repair that took a bit of time. It was a young dog that they said broke its leg on saturday but I think it was probably the saturday before because it was really scared down and quite the mess.
The afternoon is once again very busy so I am out of here. No gym tomorrow so see you all on thursday.
