The Cube wave 1 week 1 – deads reps

Yesterday was off day and it was also the day that 365STRONG came out.  Well actually it was released the night before but it was too late for me to download and print so I waited to purchase until yesterday.  It took two tries to get it to print properly.  For some reason the laser printer alignment didnt work and I was missing words and I am way too lazy to try and figure it out so I used a different computer and printer and it came out just perfect!!

I read 365STRONG today and much of it is the a repeat of the cube but in it he gives you an example of a whole cycle program with exercises, number of sets and reps and that folks for me, made it worth the $37 dollars!!  I dont have the time or the patience to want to figure it out on my own!  So if you have not yet started The Cube and you are interested in it then I encourage you to buy 365STRONG.

Ok so onwards and upwards.  Nothing very exciting happened yesterday which is good but I do wish that some interesting cases would come in.  I enjoy the small animal practice but I really love the surgery part of it :)   A chance to cut is a chance to cure!

Zac had practice and then it was a couple of emergencies and off to bed.

photo(765)Zac remembered right at bed time that he had reading homework.  For some reason he thought the word guacamole was very funny!

I slept poorly and it took everything in me to get out of bed this morning!  Up at 4:30 and out the door before 6!  I did leave my little boy behind because he is working hard with school and karate and football.  I figure one day in the gym is enough for now.

yep folks, thats it!  one set of 8 reps.  Granted I did warm up sets but 1 set of 8 just doesnt seem like that much but I am trusting that in the end it will prove itself to be awesome!  Now that I have a basic program that outlines the rest of the exercises to compliment each lift things will not feel so odd to me.

Things went smoothly and well this morning for surgery.  We got done licky split and it was nice not feeling like we were behind all morning.  I went tanning at lunch and now it is on to afternoon appointments.  The schedule seems pretty moderate and so far it hasnt been crazy.  I am hoping to be off in time to see some of karate and get Zac to practice.  I think it is of upmost importance that ones children feel like they are indeed the apple of their parents eye!  It would be easier to just drop them off and then pick them up but what is more important than my kids knowing that I care enough to be there!!  It isnt fun but supporting them is awesome!
