I am so glad that today is friday!   *Big Sigh*  It has been a long year so far!

Last night the monchers had their belt testing for karate.  Emma was advancing to her purple belt and Zac to his orange belt.

It was nine o clock when Emma got done and we were all tired but the monchers were starving!!  So David and I blew off our diets and we all went and ate at Dennys!  Not really the best food but there are not many choices here in smallville especially at that time of night.  I had eggs and wheat pancakes.

It was after 11 before I got to bed and I slept good and rolled out of bed a bit before 4:30.  Off to the gym before 6.

Arms

db curls

*20# for 4 sets of 12

lying overhead extensions

*35# for 4 sets of 12

OHP

*55# for 5 sets of 10

next week I will do these first since I want to do my best on them and bis and tris are just ancillary muscle groups.

Incline situps

*20 for 2 sets

It was an alright workout for the end of the week.

It has been a busy day as usual at the clinic.  The morning surgeries were interrupted by walk ins and other sick animals.  I like it to be busy in the mornings, well, I like it to be busy all day :)

photo(288)An awesome client brought me some way way yummy tamales!  Im sure there are a million calories in each one but they were so very tasty!!

So after a pic of a yummy tamale, here is a pic of a rotting foot.  Nice of me huh? :)   This is a poor little boxer cross dog that got its leg tangled up in its chain (I dont even want to go there on what I think of dogs that live their lives on a chain or tied up!  It is one thing to place them on it for short periods of time, it is another if they live on it)  But anyway, the guy had taken the dog to the other clinic in town and they just gave him antibiotics and pain meds.  Apparently if your foot is rotting off, that is all you need.   We are bandaging it and trying to get the infection out of it and then see if we have to amputate anything more than what is already rotting off!

I best get my buttcheeks moving.  We have some appointments ready and a horse coming in with a U bolt stuck in its face. :)
