5 x 5 week 6 – legs

Its friday, friday, friday!  Yippee skippee lets do a dance around whatever is closest and be joyful!!  (I dont really feel that way, I would much rather just go to bed but heck, you cant do that so I have to pretend.)

I dont remember what happened yesterday afternoon, we were busy, for the first half of the afternoon and then nothing and then after we closed, busy again with several emergencies!  Odd day!  Went to bible study that night and it was late getting home and late to bed!

I slept hard and good and rolled out of bed at 4:30 very unwantingly (thats not really a word) out the door before 6!

So I just posted about my decision to go back to squatting and all the reasons stated there were going through my head.  That and the fact that I was feeling overall tired and wore out even though I had just gotten up made for the decision to really work on form and not worry so much about the amount of weight lifted.

yep, that was it.  I squatted, watched the video, made a few mental notes, tried again, watched, mental notes, adjustment and on and on for 5 sets!

I tried to smile and pretend that I was having the best time of my life!  I have to say that it actually wasnt that bad, I liked the feel of the form, there is just work to do to get it right.  It was nice to feel like I was doing something productive without killing myself given that I felt so weak already.

I just did these because I needed to do something and I was too lazy to go to the leg press!  I know, I know, I feel so much guilt for not pushing through :(   That is why I am a LOSER with all capital letters today :D

We were short staffed today and it was busy!  In fact it is all pretty much a blur right now.  I did leave for lunch for an hour but it was busy up until than and busy busy busy after then!!

We had the usual load of horses at the end of the day which included one castration, an exam on an old horse who the chiropractor told them it had a pulled groin muscle, really, a pulled groin muscle *rolleyes*!  It did NOT have a pulled groin muscle!  And then there were some x rays on a race horse that has a large chip in its knee.

It is now almost six and we have had a parvo dog come in that we had to euthanize because the people had NO money and the dog was sick sick sick and parvo is a very very bad way to die and now a cat that is to be euthanized because it is old and sick and they dont want to spend any money on it.  Blah, dont like to end the week this way!
