It is a good thing that I am a christian and have God to supply all my needs and give me the strength make it through each day! Friday was crazy busy and we were short staffed. We had several large animals scheduled for the afternoon and didnt get to any of them until after 5!

The first victim was a miniature horse who needed his huevos to get cut off.
Then came a trailer with four calves that needed castrated as well. Thank goodness for Sammy who took the brunt of the beating and kicking!!

After we finished with all for them Devri started on my finger nails. They had fallen all apart and looked terrible and my pride is way too high for me to have worked the horse races with ratty nails. Image may be NSFW.

We had two emergencies come in while we were doing them. One was a dog that had been attacked by another dog and it took Bama and Bri over an hour to shave it and clean it up which gave Devri and I a lot of time to work on my nails.
We were just finishing up with them about 8:30 when a car comes hauling into the clinic and these people jump out. Their champion show dog had ran out of the house and gotten hit on the road. We stabilized the dog and then shipped it off to the specialty clinic because they are high maintenance clients and I did not want their dog dying on my watch! It was almost ten when I got home!
It was up early the next day and off to the races for the last weekend! Thank you Lord!

We got out of there a bit before 6 and stopped by the mall briefly, most of the stores close at 6, and got each kid a little something. Made it home and to bed to get up early on Monday for chest day!
