“Power Pyramid” 1/3 way thoughts and rambles

Well, I am not sure if I really like this program or not.  It is my own fault as I am the one who came up with all of it.   I am not sure if two weeks of light weights and high reps and then two weeks of heavy weights lower reps is very progressive for anything.  I dont feel like I am making any advances anywhere in anything and I am 1/3 of the way through the program!  But live and learn, I wont do it again.

I think my next program will be a 5×5.

I got a treadmill for christms and am determined to use it three times a week!  I am hoping that will help with my excessive weight issue I am having right now.  I got on the scale this morning and was a huge 169.4#!!!  I will say with as much as I have been eating it could have been a lot worse.  Not that I have any desire to lose a bunch of weight but I would like to get to where I am 160-163# and keep that as comfortably as I keep the 168-170#.

Maybe I will just drop the weeks of light weights and do all heavier weights.  I am in charge after all right? :)   But I do kind of like to switch it up for legs because strength is not as important to me as getting them shaped up and looking good!  Ahhhhh the mental of it all!  I wish the boss didnt hate me!  The gym was much easier when someone else did the thinking and I just had to do the work!
