It was bring a buddy to karate this week and Emma had been asking and asking me to be in class with her.  I did NOT want to do it and honestly was hoping for an emergency so that I wouldnt have to but no such luck.  I actually wasnt paying that much attention and when they called for everybody to line up I was sitting on my butt and if it hadnt been for David making sure Emma realized it, I would have probably gotten out of it.  But Emma noticed and gave me sad puppy dog eyes and I had to go.  karate1Doing punches

karate3Horse stance.  This one was a killer after a few minutes of holding the same position!

We finished up and the monchers went with their Aunt for a few hours and David and I went and had dinner and then I went home and got ready for bed!!

Up this morning at 4:30 and out the door before 6 with my beautiful birdie love!

Our morning surgery schedule was pretty easy and everything went smoothly without too many walk ins and such to interrupt progress.  I did have one very important surgery that I had to do at noon.

The bear made it through surgery fine and Zac has been taking very good care of it.

Afternoon appointments have been going pretty smoothly as well.  We have to redo the hernia repair on the pig in an hour.   The owner states that everything was great and then they took it to a show and on the way home the hernia repair came apart.  I have ordered some mesh and we are going to try again.  The pig is growing so fast that I am not entirely sure if I will be able to secure it well enough to heal before it out grows its sutures again.  The owner says it is gaining a pound and a half a day right now.   Keep your fingers crossed that all goes well and I will let you know how it went tomorrow. :)
