Zac and I took a short horse ride tuesday after work. I was riding a green broke colt and that freaks Zac out so when his horse stopped and turned around when we were only a short ways from the house he figured that meant it was time to go home So we did.
Wednesdays are off days from the gym so it was sleep in for a little bit longer and then up and on with the day. There were a few ranch calls scheduled for after surgeries. It was crazy hectic even though we only had 3 surgeries and it was tough to get out of the clinic but we finally managed.
The first stop was bangs vaccinating some heifers. They were fat and rowdy but there was a lot of help so it went fast. The next stop was at the Fleming Tb Farms for some xrays and a hernia repair and a castration.
They have 37 babies on the ground and 35 left to come.
Take an xray
Check the computer and make sure it turned out ok. I love digital radiology!! We had two for complete series of every major joint! That works out to be 44 x rays per horse.
We were there for several hours and then headed home and stopped for one more castration and got back to the clinic right at closing time.
Up at the usual and out the door before 6. I had to literally drag my own butt out the door because I did not want to go!

Today has been an odd day. Surgeries went smoothly and we were done early and the afternoon is double booked but people are just slowly trickling in. Blah, I am too tired for days like this right now.
