Crossfit is pretty big here in smallville. I think it is a fantastic thing for people. Gets them out and living a healthier life style. That being said, holy moly, there is no way I could do it! One, I hate to lose and I have spent the past 10 years of my life telling myself I dont have to be the best and getting into an environment like that would really test my resolve to be humble The other thing is it looks extremely hard on ones joints! I watched several crossfit people videos today and watching them snatch and clean and jerk and all those other olympic lifts made my elbows scream! Great respect for them but I will stick to my slow and steady weight lifting
random ramble over!
I didnt sleep the best last night. Im not entirely sure why but I do know that I did not want to get out of bed this morning.

The surgery schedule this morning was pretty much standard for what it has been. About a dozen surgeries and we were done around 11 ish.
We had a puppy dropped off yesterday that some guy found outside his house, so he said, and its eye had been protosed.
Our dear Bama is connected into or somehow knows all the rescue group people and at the end of a very busy day she made a few phone calls and came up with someone to take it so it didnt have to go and see Jesus. I removed the eye this morning and she left with the rescue gal at noon!
We had a hound come in on emergency on sunday morning with a chest full of fluid. I see it a lot in these areas because there are so many hunting dogs and they inhale all sorts of crud when they are trailing a lion. The first day I only was able to pull about 2 cups of fluid off but the next morning we got probably close to 10 cups. We taped her one last time this morning and were back to about 2 cups. She should go home tomorrow.
Little alphie is doing fantastic. She is walking all over the clinic and is so much more comfortable. Thank you Jesus!
The afternoon is crazy busy again and I am going to get this posted before I run out of time! See you all tomorrow for legs! On a side note, I prayed this morning for God to heal my knees and take the pain away and they have felt great all day! So happy to serve a God who heals!
